This pretty villa is a few minutes walk down steps to the beaches, bars and restaurants of the picturesque resort of Mlini. There are wonderful sea views from the peaceful, secluded terrace and the enclosed garden is full of shrubs and fruit trees.

The hamlet of Mlini, sheltered by high mountains, nestles amongst pine trees, cypresses, olive and orange groves. This charming fishing village, whose name was derived from the old watermill and stream in its centre, has a peaceful harbour and beautiful shoreline. The old stone houses add to the charm of the area. There are numerous taverns, restaurants and café bars.

Mlini has a sandy beach and a number of small pretty bays with pebble beaches. The sea is exceptionally clean and there is a wide range of water sports available just 50 metres from the villa. The Adriatic was described as one of the cleanest seas on earth by the late Jacques Cousteau.

Mlini is in the heart of the Dubrovnik Riviera which has one of the sunniest climates in Europe. The location is perfect, in that, the old city of Dubrovnik is only 6km by bus or boat, it is only 10km from the airport and the larger resort of Cavtat is also 6km away. There is a regular, cheap bus service just a few minutes walk from the villa. There are also plenty of boat trips available to the Elaphite Islands, Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Water taxis, often small fishermen's boats, are excellent value.

Dubrovnik is well worth a visit; it was completed in the 13th Century and remains virtually unchanged to the present day. The old town is stunning with its marble paved streets, wonderful architecture and vibrant bars, restaurants and street cafes.
